GEOCACHING

If you are unfamiliar with geocaching, I will offer a brief explanation. This activity requires that you download searched (and chosen) caches from a website to your GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) unit. Once you have a cache (or multiple caches) loaded to your GPS, you can use it to find one of those hidden caches one at a time. A cache is often a hidden ammo box with a log book to record your visit, numerous goodies of a sort to take one if you wish, and if you take one you leave something else in exchange. You then place the cache back in it's hiding place for the next "treasure hunter(s)". Later you can log your finds and the ones that stumped you on the same website that you got the  caches from. From the standpoint of a kissing romantic, this activity is filled with adventurous opportunities to visit places that you as a couple would never have gone to otherwise. The thrill of the hunt is shared by both partners and often, the outdoor scenery is great! Hiking to a cache is often great exercise, and a camera in hand is definitely suggested. A great way to share some romantic time together! See below for lots of information and places to buy equipment for this romantically adventurous hobby.
